THE ORIGINS OF OUR PARTY

"Your Democratic party - protecting the Rights and Freedoms established by our Founding Fathers"

On January 22nd 2005,Cliff Wilson (Chairman) and the Delaware County Democratic Committee inaugurated the official Chadds Ford Democratic Party and Committee.

In the 2004 general election, 894 (44%) of the votes in the Township were cast for the Democratic Presidential Candidate.  In the 2006 General Election the Democratic candidates Rendell, Casey and Sestak carried the Township in an unprecedented sweep

Since there are only 580 registered Democrats in Chadds Ford, it is clear that many Republicans and Independents have Democratic leanings.

Our motto is “Preservation and Progress" (Logo-Click Here).  If you want a voice in Local, County, State and National Politics, become part of our organization. If you wish to see Chadds Ford preserved and the avalanche of speculative development slowed, step forward. If you think Property taxes are too high, join the group. If you feel unrepresented in the Township Administration, give us your support. We believe that Democrats want a face and a presence in the Township. We invite you to contribute to our Party, to become a member, and to join us in formally creating a two party system in Chadds Ford.

"Your Democratic party - looking to the future".

Please consider supporting the effort of the Chadds Ford Democratic Party to elect a Supervisor, School Board Member and Auditor in the November 2007 Election

After the 2004 election, Senator Santorum (PA Campaign Chair for Bush-Cheney 2004) remarked: "We just got crushed in Delaware County. We did worse than four years ago. We didn't think that was possible."   The Republicans know that they are vulnerable in our area; it is time for the Democrats to finally prove it to them. We need representation in Congress that will temper the many disastrous policies of the Bush Administration.
