| Work sessions of the Board are open to the public. Agendas for these sessions, however, are pre-determined by the Board and the administration. School Board Work Sessions start at 7:00pm and are usually held in the District Office Large Conference Room. Public comment and formal presentations by district residents are reserved for the public board meetings which are held on the third Monday of the month at 7:30pm in the High School LGI. Exceptions to this schedule are the January and February meeting dates which occur on the third Tuesday to accommodate legal holidays At regular board meetings, public comment is taken on agenda items at the beginning of the regular monthly meetings; time is also allocated for additional public input at the meeting's end as needed. Citizens who want to have a specific item placed on the agenda must send a written request to the Superintendent at least one week prior to the meeting. Work sessions are also held in public.
